Barrington Hills is known for large wooded lots, horse farms, riding trails and estate homes set back along roads like Route 62 and Route 68. Bigger properties with outbuildings, barns and long tree lines bring their own pest pressure. Christopher Pest Management serves Barrington Hills from our nearby Cary office.
Licensed in pest control since 2000, with 26 years of experience, we start every job with an inspection of the safe, accessible areas of your home so we treat the actual problem and look for how pests are getting in.
Common Pests in Barrington Hills Homes
Heavily wooded acreage makes carpenter ants a frequent problem in larger homes, especially where trees touch the roof or wood siding and trim stay damp. Carpenter ant treatment is charged separately from maintenance plans.
Stinging insects are common around barns, fences, decks and landscaping. Bald-faced hornets and European hornets may nest in trees and shrubs, and yellow jackets often nest in the ground. We provide treatment of active wasp and hornet nests; hornet nests away from the structure are priced separately. In fall, house mice move in from fields and woods; we can inspect and seal accessible entry points with our EntryLock® barrier system.
Maintenance Plans for Barrington Hills Residents
We offer Monthly (12 visits a year), Bi-Monthly (6 visits) and Quarterly (4 visits) residential plans. Each visit includes an upper and lower exterior treatment, EPS (Exterior Pesticide Spray, outside only), plus a pest management inspection. Plans run 12 months and are priced by structure size, so larger homes are quoted after inspection. Easy Pay is available as low as $75/month on Bi-Monthly and Quarterly plans.
