Birds

Birds like to nest inside attic or corners of house or gutters.  They can be very messy and leave bird droppings in your attic or on the side of your house. Some common birds that like to get into your attic or parts of your house are the common sparrow, starlings and pigeons.

The most common pest bird in the wildlife control industry is the pigeon, as seen to the left. Pigeons are common in urban areas, and live very well in conjunction with people. They often roost in public areas, such as on building ledges, beams, and store signs. Pigeons grow to a very large size in the nest before they are fledged and able to fly and in this stage of their development (when they are called squabs) they are prized as food. They also frequently live in attics and we often deal with groups of pigeons living in the attics of homes, condos, and apartment buildings.
